Winner of the local Fermanagh and Omagh heat will progress to Go Succeed: The Ultimate Pitch Final
An entrepreneur who is developing an AI-powered consultation platform for aesthetic clinics has wowed judges at the local Fermanagh and Omagh Ultimate Pitch heat, securing their place in the regional final.
Lorraine Browne secured £1,000 in investment for her business idea Belleverita, and a place in the regional Ultimate Pitch Final in November where she’ll pitch for an additional £5,000 to grow the budding business.
The pitching competition is organised by Go Succeed, the government-backed enterprise support service, and delivered locally by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council.
Lorraine, from outside Ballinmallard, identified the need for Belleverita after almost 20 years managing a leading dental and facial aesthetics clinic in Omagh. She saw first-hand how consultations varied between clinicians, creating inconsistent patient experiences and missed treatment opportunities.
The Belleverita platform instead uses AI to standardise consultations, thereby improving patient understanding, supporting clinicians and helping clinics grow through better treatment acceptance and continuity of care.
She was among 10 entrepreneurs from across the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council area to pitch at the local heat of Go Succeed: The Ultimate Pitch.
Among them was Sorcha McAnespy who won the Social Impact award for her business Fig, a a digital safety platform helping people identify and respond to coercive control.; Shelley Cowan who received the Inclusive Entrepreneurship award for her business EQUORIA XP, which seeks to improve travel and hospitality accessibility; and Rebekah Jones of accessible play café Little Jar of Joy, who took home the Rising Star award.
Councillor Debbie Coyle, Chair of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, said:
“Having the confidence to put your business idea forward is a huge milestone for any entrepreneur, and we’re proud to have supported so many local businesses through Go Succeed: The Ultimate Pitch.
“Congratulations to everyone who entered and reached the local heat final, and a special congratulations to Lorraine on taking the win! We’ll be cheering you on at the final in November.”
