The Fermanagh and Omagh District Council has been established as one of the eleven new councils introduced via the Local Government Reform Programme. These replaced the existing 26 District Councils on 1 April 2015.
As the regional business development agency, Invest NI’s role is to grow the local economy. We do this by helping new and existing businesses to compete internationally, and by attracting new investment to Northern Ireland.
Since we were established in 2000 to represent the Local Enterprise Agencies, Enterprise Northern Ireland (ENI) have worked with hundreds of entrepreneurs helping them set up their business in Northern Ireland, enabling them to grow and develop. ENI helps local business on three levels:
Cookstown Enterprise Centre was established in 1991 and today has the reputation of being one of the leading enterprise agencies throughout Northern Ireland.
Delivering entrepreneurial excellence as well as a full range of business premises for rent the company provides a suite of bespoke business start-up and development initiatives to its clients throughout the local region.
Strabane Enterprise Agency is a charity that is dedicated to providing a high quality service and has at its heart key values that it operates by.
As a social enterprise and registered charity the agency’s core aim is to benefit the local community by providing a range of services for individuals who are considering starting their own business and for businesses looking to grow and develop.
Omagh Enterprise’s mission is to promote enterprise and support start-up, growth and innovative businesses in the Omagh area.
Omagh Enterprise Company was established in 1984 as the local enterprise agency for the Omagh District Council area. The organisation is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee with a strong management team and a voluntary board of directors, representative of the local business community.
Dungannon Enterprise Centre was officially opened in 1991 and is one of 32 Local Enterprise Agencies (L.E.A.’s) in Northern Ireland predominantly serving the rural area of Dungannon and South Tyrone Borough Council.
The Enterprise Centre is governed by a voluntary Board of Directors made up of representatives of the local business community, voluntary sector and also the local Council.
