Funding for projects that aim to make buildings more affordable, efficient, safer and healthier
Invest Northern Ireland (NI) will be hosting a grant writing masterclass for the construction sector on Friday 16 August 2019.
At the masterclass, Invest NI will highlight the Transforming Construction challenge, a £170 million UK-wide government investment under the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund, run by UK Research and Innovation.
The programme aims to support industries in adopting new digital manufacturing technologies and help buildings to be constructed 50 per cent faster, 33 per cent cheaper and with half the lifetime carbon emissions.
Part of this funding will be available to businesses across the UK to apply for collaborative research and development projects.
While focused on businesses from the construction sector, the masterclass is open to all interested businesses.
