The long serving Chairman of Fermanagh Enterprise Ltd, John O’Kane, is standing down from his position.

Having led the Board and the Organisation through significant growth and expansion, Mr O’Kane feels that the time is right to hand over the reins. Highly regarded by fellow Directors, Mr O’Kane was an exemplar of leadership, able to achieve excellence in Governance and at the same time striving for the highest levels of support for the small Business sector in Fermanagh through the provision of purpose built workspace and free Business advice, support and mentoring.

Overseeing a developmental phase which resulted in an expansion from 5,000 sq ft of workspace to a total of over 100,000 sq ft across four locations in Enniskillen, Mr O’Kane is confident that the Organisation is currently in its strongest position ever, guided by an experienced and professional Board. His voluntary contribution to economic and community development over the years is a testament to his genuine desire to making Fermanagh a great place to live and work.

Tom Harpur, a Director with the Company since 2011, has been elected as the new Chair and brings to the role an extensive depth and breadth of knowledge and experience.  We are excited for the future of Fermanagh Enterprise Ltd with Tom at its helm.
