Find out about new health and well-being innovation funding opportunities
Innovate UK is holding a briefing event with Queen’s University Belfast (QUB) on the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund and the two health related challenges:
- data to early diagnosis and precision medicine
- healthy ageing
The first of the challenges will focus on enhancing the power of health data to diagnose life-changing diseases at the earliest possible stage and develop precision treatments to cure them.
The second will aim to support innovations that could help older people maintain their chosen lifestyle, and stay independent for longer.
The funding available under the two challenges will be £210 million and £98 million, respectively (subject to business case approval).
The event will give you a chance to learn more about the challenges and funding available, and how you can get involved. The briefing will take place on Friday 23 March 2018 at the QUB’s Research and Enterprise Directorate, 63 University Road, Belfast.
