Fermanagh and Omagh District Council will host a Funding and Advice Fair for community and voluntary sector groups on Thursday 26 October 2017 from 4pm – 8pm in Omagh Library.
The Funding and Advice Fair will provide local groups with the opportunity to drop in any time between 4pm and 8pm to meet representatives from a number of funding and advisory agencies including the Heritage Lottery Fund, Big Lottery Fund, Halifax Foundation, Sport NI, The Executive Office, Community Relations Council and NICVA among others.
FOCUS and Omagh Forum for Rural Associations will also facilitate workshops during the evening. At 5pm there will be a workshop on Registering with the NI Charity Commission, while at 7pm, there will be a workshop on Making returns to the Charity Commission NI. It is compulsory for all charities operating in Northern Ireland to apply for charity registration through the Commission. Booking is not required to attend any of the workshops.
