The search is on to find Northern Ireland’s greatest innovations
Now open for applications, Invent 2018 offers a fantastic opportunity for innovators and entrepreneurs across Northern Ireland to be part of a unique competition.
Invent is Catalyst Inc’s annual competition. It showcases and rewards local innovation and proof of concept ideas that have the greatest commercial potential. In 2017, the competition attracted a record-breaking 144 entries.
Award categories
Applicants to this year’s Invent can put their ideas and projects forward for one of the six award categories:
agri-science
engineering
life and health
enterprise software
electronics
creative and consumer internet

Why should you apply?
The competition offer applicants an opportunity to share a prize fund of £33,000 and gain:
validation for their idea

Previous finalists are now successfully growing their companies and exporting innovative products and services across the globe.
How to apply?
This competition is open to anyone with an innovative idea, from students and postgrads through to executives with side projects or retired people with a solution. You do not have to have a company to apply.
