Vrai Limited is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal ESG Paralegal who will play a pivotal role in supporting the Vrai Founder with various tasks related to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) legislation, frameworks, and guidelines, including but not limited to: conducting research; reviewing and distilling key legislation; assisting with customer discovery, preparing reports and document summaries and monitoring changes in the legal ESG landscape. Flexibility will be shown towards candidates displaying many but not all of the required/ preferred qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Review, interpret (with guidance), distil, and summarise key international ESG legislation.
- Benchmark legislative developments with existing frameworks.
- Prepare document summaries for further use.
- Monitor amendments within regulatory frameworks, including those from Europe.
- Research various topics of interest to the business as directed by the Founder.
- Prepare first draft memoranda for internal use.
- Draft social media content related to ESG topics.
- Monitor email communications and draft first responses.
- Assist with personal errands and tasks and necessary.
- Undertake special projects as directed by the Founder.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Upper Second Class Honours in Law or equivalent (including for example Qualifying Law Degree).
- Proficiency in English (as a first language) (and one other main European language, preferred).
- Strong aptitude in software skills including but not limited to: Work; Excel; Adobe; PowerPoint; Outlook; Canva.
- Prior experience in legal research desirable, particularly within the ESG sector.
- Strong organisational skills and acute attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.

Further Information
The employer is VRAI LIMITED. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer.
